8 Core Optical Cable
Fiber optic cable, also known as optical cable, is a component similar to an electrical cable but contains one or more optical fibers for transmitting light. Each fiber optic component is usually coated with a plastic layer and enclosed in a protective tube. It is a communication cable component that uses one or more optical fibers placed in a sheath as the transmission medium and can be used individually or in groups. Different types of optical cables are used in different application scenarios.
Features
- The traction force for laying the optical cable should not exceed 80% of the allowable tension of the optical cable. The instantaneous maximum traction force shall not exceed 100% of the allowable tension of the optical cable.
- The bending radius of the optical cable should not be less than 15 times the outer diameter of the optical cable, and should not be less than 20 times during construction.
- In order to prevent the optical cable from being twisted and damaged during the traction process, a swivel should be added between the traction end and the traction rope.
- The optical cable traction end can be prefabricated or made on site.
